KiDS YEAR OF THE HORSE PAiNTiNG WORKSHOP

Service Description

RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 5 - 14 Why the long face? Is it because horses can be really difficult to draw? In this 2-hour workshop, children will use painting and drawing techniques to create their own horse portrait painting in honour of Chinese New Year 2026 - The Year of The Horse. Students will work with me to learn how to draw a horse and explore the elements of shape, line and colour to create their own expressive horse painting which will leave the studio framed and ready to display for the Year of the Horse! I have spaces available for 10 students to join me at the studio, which is located in the Armadale Hills area, approximately 45 minutes from Perth's city centre. For privacy reasons, the exact address will be provided after your payment is received. A protective apron will be provided for the duration of the workshop and all care will be taken to avoid damage to clothing. A toilet and bathroom is easily accessible to students. Please note - this workshop has been designed to be fun and achievable. Parents are not required to attend.
