Service Description

RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 7- 16 In this 3-hour workshop, young artists will use painting and printmaking techniques to create their own painting inspired by the decorative work of Austrian artist, Gustav Klimt (1862 – 1918). In his 'Golden Phase', Klimt's work was characterised by a prominent use of gold, elegant spirals, swirls and symbolic shapes. After learning about the work of Gustav Klimt, participants will be guided to create their own interpretation of Klimt's 1909 painting 'Tree of Life'. A protective apron will be provided and all care will be taken to avoid damage to clothing. A toilet and bathroom is easily accessible to students. The studio is located in the Armadale Hills area, approximately 45 minutes from Perth’s city centre. For privacy reasons, the exact address will be provided after your payment is received.
