CLAUDE MONET iNSPiRED WORKSHOP FOR KiDS

Service Description

RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 5 -14 Did seeing the ‘Monet in Paris’ exhibit inspire your child to paint? Or maybe they prefer sculpture? We will be exploring both in this 3 hour workshop. Children will learn about the renowned French Impressionist painter, Claude Monet before creating their own Impressionist style painted papers. They will then use these papers to sculpt water lilies and details inspired by Monet’s many paintings of his garden pond. Your child will leave the workshop with their work mounted on a wooden board, ready to hang at home! I have spaces available for 10 students to join me at the studio, which is located in the Armadale Hills area, approximately 45 minutes from Perth's city centre. For privacy reasons, the exact address will be provided after your payment is received. Alternatively, get together a group of 5 - 10 kids and I will come to you! Please note, this option will incur a travel cost of $25.00 for me to bring the workshop to you, anywhere in the metro area. All I need from you is a table that will seat all participants. For this option please email me directly - anne@thepencilcaseartstudio.com A protective apron will be provided for the duration of the workshop and all care will be taken to avoid damage to clothing. A toilet and bathroom is easily accessible to students. Please note - this workshop has been designed to be fun and achievable. Parents are not required to attend.
